4.6 Mounting the Smart PCS on a Base Support
Precautions
● To prevent dust inhalation or contact with eyes, wear safety goggles and a
dust mask when drilling holes.
● Use a vacuum cleaner to clean up dust in and around the holes, and measure
the spacing. If the holes are inaccurately positioned, drill the holes again.
● After removing the bolt, spring washer, and at washer from an expansion
bolt, level the top of the expansion sleeve with the ground so that the sleeve
does not protrude from the ground. Otherwise, the base support will not be
positioned stably.
