6 Calls and contacts
6.1 How do I record an ongoing call?
Your phone does not support ongoing call recording.
6.2 What can I do if the screen is still off after I move my
phone away from my ear?
Your phone has a proximity sensor that's installed near the earpiece.
When your ear or other object triggers the proximity sensor, the screen automatically turns off.
The screen turns back on when the object blocking the proximity sensor is moved away.
If the screen is still off after you move your phone away from your ear, make sure the upper
part of the screen is not blocked by another object.
Do not block the area around the earpiece with the phone cover or other objects. When you attach a
protective film to the screen, make sure it does not block the proximity sensor. It is recommended that
you use the protective film dedicated to your phone.
6.3 What can I do if the call volume is small or the call
sound is unclear?
During the call, press the volume up button to increase the call volume.
Make calls in quiet places with good reception.
When you are holding the phone, make sure the earpiece is aligned with your ear.
Do not block the microphone with your finger or other object. Speak close to the
microphone.
Use the Huawei original headset for calls. Other headsets may not be compatible with
your phone.
Restart your phone or back up important data and restore your phone to its factory
settings.
