6 Storage and file management
6.1 After tethering the phone, why does my computer lose
Internet connectivity?
1. Please ensure you have turned on mobile data, or that your phone has another way to
access the Internet.
Go to Settings > More > Tethering & portable hotspot and enable USB tethering.
2. Ensure that the USB cable is connected properly.
6.2 After taking a screenshot, why can't I find the image
file?
It is possible that the microSD card is full. You can configure the microSD card as the default
storage location from Settings > Storage.
6.3 What do I do if the internal storage is full and an error
message appears when applications are opened?
The Android operating system for mobile phones is installed on the system partition of the
phone's internal storage. When a phone doesn't have sufficient RAM available, the operating
system will allocate some storage space outside the system partition to be used as swap space.
This allows data to be freely moved in and out between the RAM and swap space. If your
phone's internal storage is full, the swap space may not be large enough to allow the data to
move in and out. In this situation, processes using large amounts of RAM may encounter
errors. To resolve this problem, delete some content from the phone's internal storage and
restart the phone.
6.4 Can I install a microSD card to my phone?
Yes. Note that you can install either a nano-SIM card or microSD card to the corresponding
card slot.
