1. When you are connected to a Wi-Fi network with a poor signal, Wi-Fi+ will
automatically switch to a known Wi-Fi network with a better signal that you previously
used to access the Internet (if available).
2. If the mobile data connection is also poor or there is no mobile data connection available,
your phone will not switch to a mobile data network and you will receive a "No Wi-Fi
networks with Internet access available" prompt.
3. Your phone will not switch to a mobile data connection if you are roaming and you will
receive a "No Wi-Fi networks with Internet access available" prompt.

If the signal strength of the Wi-Fi network is weak, a 'Poor Wi-Fi connection' message will be
displayed prompting you to switch to a mobile data connection.

When the quality of the Wi-Fi connection is poor, your phone will automatically connect to
another known Wi-Fi network with a stronger signal (if available).
1.59 Why does my phone automatically connect to a Wi-Fi
network when I am using a mobile data connection?
1. The signal strength of the Wi-Fi network that you were previously connected to has
improved or you have a poor mobile data connection.
2. You disabled mobile data services.
1.60 How can I restore the settings after I select the Do not
prompt option on the notification confirmation interface?
If uninformed automatic handoff bothers you after you select Do not prompt, you can select
Ask whether to resume mobile data in Settings > Wireless & networks > More > Mobile
networks > Mobile data switch reminder.
