10.12 Why doesn't my phone display the SMSs according
to the time sequence and why are some SMSs fixed to the
top?
The information module supports the Pin function. You can set to display a certain
conversation on the top (press and hold the conversation and select the Pin option). There is a
green triangle mark in the upper right corner of the SMS displayed on the top. Other normal
SMSs are displayed according to the time sequence.
10.13 Why is the messaging app displayed as stopped or
not the default messaging app?
The default messaging app is a new feature of the Android 4.4 system. After you have
installed a third-party messaging app on your phone and set it as the default messaging app,
the pre-installed messaging app is stopped because only one messaging app can be used.
Only the default messaging app can be used to send SMSs. When this problem occurs, go to
Settings > All > Manage apps > Default app settings > Messaging and set a messaging app
as the default messaging app.
10.14 Why can't I receive some SMSs?
Check whether a third-party messaging app is set as the default messaging app and the junk
message blocking function of the application is enabled.
10.15 Why can't I receive the SMSs pushed by my email?
Select Auto-sync on the status panel of your phone and select Email notifications in email
settings. If the problem persists, restart your phone and touch the email application icon.
10.16 Why can't I log in to Gmail using Exchange?
Because the Gmail server is restricted, your phone can't acquire the exchange protocol
information and fails to log in to the Gmail account to synchronize the contacts and calendar
events. You can back up the Gmail account data on a computer and import the data to another
mailbox or Huawei cloud account.
10.17 How can I lock a specific message or delete messages
in batch?
Go to Messaging and touch a conversation to display all messages in the conversation. Touch
and hold the message you want to lock. From the displayed option menu, choose Lock.
