8.9 What can I do if the GPS positioning is inaccurate?
Locate in an open area where the network signal strength is strong, for example, on city
streets or in squares because the GPS positioning accuracy depends on the accuracy of
the GPS and map. Try not locating indoors.
Connect to a Wi-Fi or mobile network or use the A-GPS while enabling the GPS
function.
If the foregoing methods fail, use other GPS software.
If the problem persists, contact Huawei technical support or take your phone to an
authorized Huawei service center.
8.10 How can I enable the GPS?
Flick down the notification bar and touch the GPS icon. Then, you can enable or disable the
GPS function.
To make the GPS more accurate and power-saving, go to Settings, touch Location access or
Location mode, and set the location method according to your requirements, for example,
using the Wi-Fi, mobile network, or A-GPS.
The figures are for your reference only. The actual screens may vary.
8.11 How do I use the GPS on my phone?
Your phone has a built-in GPS receiver. After installing GPS software, you can use the GPS
on your phone. If no GPS software is pre-installed in your phone, download the GPS software
from Huawei App Center.
To use the GPS, enable the GPS, open the GPS software, and browse the map or plan the
route according to onscreen instructions.
