To restore APN settings, touch the menu key on the APN settings screen. From the displayed
option menu, choose Reset to default.
2.8.9 How do I enable or disable the data service?

Go to Settings. Touch Mobile networks > Data connection. Select your service
provider to turn on the data service, or Off to turn off the data service.

Drag the status bar downward:
In the toolbox of the notification panel, touch to turn on the data service. The icon
changes to when the data service is turned on.

Go to Settings. Touch Dual card > Data connection. Select your service provider to
turn on the data service, or Off to turn off the data service.
2.8.10 How do I view my phone's data service status or turn off
the data service?
Drag the notification bar downward:

indicates that the data service is turned on. To turn off the data service, touch this
icon. indicates that the data service is turned off.


A virtual private network (VPN) extends a private network across a public network. It is a
virtual network that functions as a private network.
Go to Settings. Under WIRELESS & NETWORKS, touch More. On the displayed screen,
touch VPN.
You must set a lock screen PIN or password before you can use the VPN function.
