3.1 How do I save battery power?

When you are not using the phone, press the power key to turn off the screen.

Set the screen timeout period to a small value under Settings > Display > Sleep.

Lower the screen brightness under Settings > Display > Brightness.

Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when you do not need to use them under Settings >
WIRELESS & NETWORKS > Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Turn off Mobile networks when you do not need to use it under Setting> WIRELESS &
NETWORKS > Mobile networks.

Turn off GPS by clearing GPS satellites under Settings > Location access> GPS
satellites.
3.2 How do I reduce my mobile data usage?

Disable the data service when you do not need it.

Disable data services if your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Access Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) sites instead of World Wide Web (WWW)
websites.

Turn off data synchronization in the background: Go to Settings and touch More > Data
usage. Touch the menu key and clear Auto-sync data.
3.3 My phone runs very slow. What can I do?

Close background applications you do not need. Go to Settings and touch Manage
apps > Running. Select the application you want to close, and touch Stop.

Uninstall unwanted applications to increase your phone's available storage. When
available storage is insufficient, the phone runs slowly.

If the CPU usage is high and multiple background processes are running, restart the
phone to close unwanted processes and applications.

The performance and power consumption of your phone affect each other. If you enable
smart power saving mode, your experience in playing games or watching videos may be
affected. If your phone is running slowly, you can disable smart power saving mode.
