Access Control
The System Status function allows for manual operation and testing of Relays, Groups, Schedules, Inputs and outputs.
Access Control settings allow a master user to create up to 10 Usernames and Passwords for the panel’s access. To create a new
Access Control user, do the following:
1. From the Main Menu, use the navigation arrows to select Access Control. From the keypad, press ENTER.
2. Scroll to and select a User. From the keypad, press ENTER.
3. Under Name: use the keypad to type a name.
4. Use the down arrow key to select Level: then use the left and right arrow keys to highlight <Master> <Limited> or View-
Only>.
5. After making your selection, press the down arrow key to select Password: and use the keypad to type a 4-digit password.
Note: Keep the Password in an accessible place. Contact Tech Support if the Password has been lost or misplaced.
6. Press the down arrow key to highlight [Save]. From the keypad, press Enter to save your changes.
7. The rst user must always have a Master user level. If the rst user is not dened, Access Control will not be used by the
CX Controller. A password of 0000 can be entered by simply pressing ENTER at the CX Controller main screen. This can be
useful when the 0000 user is set to a View-Only user level.
Diagnostics
Diagnostics allows the user to view the status of Battery Back-Up, Panel Communications, and Relay Communications.
Update Firmware
If a power cycle is not possible to update rmware, this section is where this task would be accomplished.
Simply insert the SD card with the appropriate Firmware.
• From the Main Menu scroll and select System Tools and press ENTER on the keypad.
• Scroll and select Update Firmware and press ENTER on the keypad.
• Select the Firmware and Select <YES> and press ENTER on the keypad
Controller Version
Controller Version displays the date and time of the CX Panel’s most recent version update.
• From the Main Menu, use the navigation arrows to select System Tools > Controller Version.
Relay Version
• Relay Version displays the date and time of the CX Panel’s most recent version update.
• From the Main Menu, use the navigation arrows to select System Tools > Relay Version.
Reboot System
The Reboot System function reboots the controller and allows for a refresh of all system status.
Warning: Programmed lighting control functions will not operate during a system reboot.
To Reboot System the following steps are required:
• From the Main Menu, use the navigation arrows to select System Tools > Reboot System. From the keypad, press ENTER.
• Using the left and right keypad arrows change the status from <NO> to <YES>. From the keypad, press ENTER to reboot
