6.19 The wheel motors
The 2 wheel motors are brushless DC motors. The
motors are supplied as a unit together with gearbox,
wheel motor end cover, gasket, hub and cable.
Right and left wheel motors are identical and have the
same article number as spare parts. The motors have to
be replaced if they are faulty.
6.19.1 To replace the front wheel
This section gives information on how to remove all
parts of the front wheel. For service or to replace spare
parts all steps may not be necessary.
1. Remove the body. Refer to

2. Remove the upper chassis. Refer to

.
3. Remove the lock washer on the spindle in the lower
chassis.
4. Remove the washer and the bearing from the top
side
5. Remove the spindle, washer and ball bearing from
the bottom side.
6. Remove the 3 screws.
7. Remove the wheel outside and the wheel tire.
8. Remove the lock washer from the axle.
9. Remove the washer, the ball bearing, the o-ring and
the wheel inside.
