WARNING: The lock mechanism
can cause injury to fingers if you do
not operate it carefully. Put the
service lock in full vertical position
and hold the front edge of the
cutting deck with two hands when
you continue to the next step.
8. Lift the front edge of the cutting deck and move it
into the equipment frame. The plugs on the cutting
deck, one on each side, must be put in the grooves
on the equipment frame. The service lock releases
automatically.
9. Lift the cutting height stay from the stay holder and
put it in the hole for the cutting height stay (1).
10. Put the drive belt around the tension wheel (2). Make
sure the drive belt runs as illustrated below.
11. Put the spring in the spring holder (3).
12. Set the lift lever for the cutting deck in locked
position. The cutting deck lifts.
13. Pull the auger servicing position lever to up position.
14. Attach the front cover.
To remove the cutting deck
1. Do steps 1–6 in

2. Pull the spring handle to the right out from the spring
holder to loosen the tension on the tension wheel for
the drive belt. (1)
3. Hold the spring handle with your left hand and lift off
the drive belt with your right hand.
4. Pull the drive belt to the rear below the product. Do
not put it in the belt holder (2).
5. Put the spring handle in the spring holder to prevent
that the spring falls down.
6. Lift the cutting height stay and put it in the holder for
the cutting height stay (3).
