7. Hold the front edge of the cutting deck with two
hands and pull forward until it stops.
8. Lift the service lock to vertical position.
WARNING: The lock mechanism
can cause injury to fingers if you do
not operate it carefully. Put the
service lock in full vertical position
and hold the front edge of the
cutting deck with two hands when
you continue to the next step.
9. Lift the front edge of the cutting deck until the service
lock touches the frame and pull the cutting deck out.
Operation
Introduction
WARNING: Before you operate the product,

To fill fuel
WARNING: Gasoline is very flammable. Be
careful and refuel outdoors (see
Fuel safety
on page 11
).
The engine runs on unleaded gasoline with a minimum
octane rating of 85 (not mixed with oil). We recommend
biodegradable alkylate gasoline. (max. methanol 5%,
max. ethanol 10%, max. MTBE 15%).
Do a check of the fuel level before each use and refuel if
necessary.
You can clearly see the fuel level in the fuel tank and
there are marks for empty tank, tank filled ¼, tank filled
½ and for full tank. Do not fill above the mark that shows
full tank.
To adjust the seat
The seat can be tilted forward. It can also be adjusted
lengthways. Loosen the handles below the seat to adjust
it forward or rearward.
