To adjust the parallelism of the cutting
deck
1. Remove the front cover and the right fender.
2. Remove the screws that hold the belt shield and lift
off the belt shield.
3. Loosen the nuts on the lift strut.
4. Turn the lift strut to extend the stay or make it
shorter. Extend the stay to lift the rear edge of the
cover. Make the stay shorter to lower the rear edge
of the cover.
5. Tighten the nuts on the lift strut when the adjustment
is done.
6. Attach the belt shield and tighten the screws.
7. Attach the right fender and the front cover.
To examine the blades
Put the cutting deck in servicing position. Look at the
blades to see if they are damaged and if it is necessary
to sharpen them. Tighten the blade bolts with tightening
torque 60 Nm, in the direction of the arrows in the
illustration.
CAUTION: Damaged or incorrectly balanced
blades cause unbalance that can damage
the product. Replace damaged blades. Let
an authorized service agent help you
sharpen and balance blunt blades.
To replace the blades
CAUTION:
The bolt heads can be damaged
if you try to loosen them in the incorrect
direction.
1. Put the cutting deck in servicing position.
2. Lock the blade with a wooden block.
