To start the engine
1. Make sure that the drive system is engaged, see
To
engage and disengage the drive system on page 15
.
2. Lift up the cutting deck and apply the parking brake.
3. Turn the ignition key to the start position.
4. When the engine starts, immediately release the
ignition key to neutral position.
Note:
Do not run the starter for more than 5 seconds
at a time. If the engine does not start, wait 15
seconds before you try again.
5. Turn the key to the lights position to make the
headlights come on.
6. Push the throttle control to full throttle position (A).
To use the product in collect mode
1. Start the engine.
2. Make sure that the symbol on the auger control
button is green. This shows that the product is in
collect mode. See
Auger control switch with LED
indicators on page 5
for information on what to do if
the symbols on the auger control switch lights up or
the auger control button is red.
