4.4.1 Local Access Management
The Local Access Management feature is applicable to a local repeater. It ensures
that access is granted to a radio whose ID is within the ID range only. See Figure as
below:

From the above diagram, you can see that MS1’s ID and MS3’s ID are within the ID
range of the repeater, while MS2’s ID is beyond that range. Thus, the repeater will
repeat call and data requests from MS1 and MS3 rather than MS2, because MS2 is
deemed illegal.
