4.5 Repeat request priority
The repeat request priority feature is designed to solve the priority classifying
problems in repeater transferring in multi-site system. The repeater will receive the
data from the network and the signals over the air. When it receives both at the
same time, which shall it transfer first? To solve this problem, Hytera DMR provides
the Multi-site Priority feature, so you can define the priority to the signals or data to
be transferred by the repeater.
This feature is usually used with the access management to make the use of the
system resources more convenient and reasonable.
4.6 Super Master
The Super Master feature is tailored for connecting multiple Master Repeaters in the
IP Multisite Connect mode, expanding the communication coverage of IP network.
Currently, the single IP network can accommodate a maximum of 30 repeaters
including a Master Repeater and multiple Slave Repeaters. In the multi-layer
network, as the monolayer structure in the IP Multisite Connect network is adopted,
the Master Repeater will be only allowed to communicate with its Slave Repeaters
within the network rather than other Master Repeaters in other single networks,
making it difficult to expand communication coverage of the IP network. In this case,
if you need to extend the coverage without changing the existing IP network, it
entails the connection of Master Repeaters in different single networks. Here, the
Super Master can address the above problem. To be specific, this feature can be
used in both the Star Network and Double-layer Network, to extend the
communication coverage. In the former mode, any Master Repeater in the IP
Multisite Connect network can work as a Super Master, to connect with other Master
Repeaters in other single networks. Theoretically, this IP network can accommodate
an unlimited number of repeaters. In the latter mode, only one Super Master is
available, to connect other Master Repeaters. And a maximum of 225 repeaters can
be deployed in this network.
In addition to the existing IP network service, the super master service, super
master Multisite service and super master RDAC service are also available to meet
the customer’s needs.
