Special tools requirements
You may need to order the following tools, which are not included in the toolkit:
v Ethernet wrap plug
v Tri-connector (serial and parallel) wrap plug
v USB mouse, required for POS Device Diagnostics
v PS/2-style or POS keyboard
Using the RAID application
The Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks (RAID)

application supports Models
742 and 782 with two hard disk drives and the Microsoft Windows operating
system. RAID provides an error message should one of the two hard disk drives
experience a failure (see Figure 63).
Determining a hard drive failure
When the RAID program indicates a hard drive failure, you can determine which
drive has failed using one of the following two methods:
Method one: Clicking on the RAID icon
1. From the Microsoft Windows Task bar, click on the RAID icon. This icon is
present only if abnormal activity occurred, such as a failed drive, and during an
array rebuilding. The Intel Storage Utility (see Figure 64 on page 76. ) opens.
3. RAID is also referred to as the Redundant Array of Independent Disks.
