(remark)
statement
allows you
to
insert remarks or comments in a BASIC
program listing. The syntax
of
the
REM
statement
is
as shown:
REM
[comment]
where:
comment
is
one
or
more characters. This
is
an optional entry.
The
REM
statement
is
nonexecutable. It appears
in
program listing,
but
has no affect
on
program execution.
