Enter the IP address of the TFTP server in the Server IP Address field and the
complete path and file name of the firmware code file for the switch. Click Apply to
enter the server IP address into the switch RAM (select Save Changes to enter the
address into the switch NVRAM). Click Start to initiate the file transfer.
The information on this window is described as follows:
Server IP Address
The IP address of the TFTP server.
Path and File Name
The full file name (including path) of the new firmware code file on the
TFTP server.
Upgrade Firmware
A configuration file can be downloaded from a TFTP server to the switch. This file is
then used by the switch to configure itself.
