What to do if Icom Receiver charging indicator blinks orange?
    • G
      gonzalesjeffreyAug 21, 2025
If the charging indicator on your Icom Receiver blinks orange, or alternately blinks orange and green, it could be due to several reasons: the battery pack is not properly inserted (insert the battery pack properly); charging the battery pack outside of the chargeable temperature range (charge the battery pack in the chargeable temperature range, 10°C to 40°C (+50°F to +104°F)); loose connection of charging transceivers (clean the charger terminals); or the transceiver power is ON while charging (turn OFF the power while charging).

Why Icom IP503H has no power?
    • W
      wstevensAug 23, 2025
If your Icom Receiver isn't powering on, there are a few potential causes: a loose connection of the battery pack (clean the battery pack terminals); the battery is exhausted (charge the battery pack); or the battery pack’s over-discharge protection circuitry is activated (remove the battery pack from the transceiver, then charge it for a while. Attach the battery pack to the transceiver again, then turn ON the power).

Why is Icom IP503H Receiver call cut off?
    • M
      Mark GarciaAug 30, 2025
If your Icom Receiver call was suddenly cut off, or noise is heard, it could be due to being too far from the Bluetooth device when using a Bluetooth headset. Get closer to the Bluetooth device; the communication range of Bluetooth is approximately 10 meters (33 feet). It may also be electromagnetic interference from other electronic devices, so use the transceiver away from the other devices, or stop using those devices.
