Maintenance operations
The following maintenance operations can be implemented by installers or authorized technicians only
(Level 3) who can:
1. By means of a screw driver or similar tool, remove the screws and open the control panel cabinet.
2. Connect the programming jumper J2 PROGRAM.
3. Type in a valid access code: the control panel will allow access to the maintenance functions.
27.1 Testing/Enabling a zone
FROM COMPUTER
Not available.
During zone Test status, detectors and other signaling devices associated with the zone will be unable
to generate faults, alarms or signals. Activation of a detector during zone test status will light its LED,
which will reset automatically. This feature allows operators to test the system devices without moving
away from the panel.

Note: Testing/Enabling a zone involves testing/enabling all the zone points (detectors).
27.2 Testing/Enabling a detector
