Why is steam leaking from the side of my Instant Kitchen Appliances lid?
- KKatelyn SimmonsAug 25, 2025
Steam leaking from the side of the Instant Kitchen Appliances lid can occur for several reasons. Make sure there is a sealing ring in the lid. If there is one, it may be damaged or improperly installed, in which case you should replace it. Food debris attached to the sealing ring can also cause leaks; remove the sealing ring and clean it thoroughly. Ensure the lid is closed properly. If the sealing ring rack is warped or off-center, remove the sealing ring and check the rack for bends or warps, and contact Consumer Care. A misshapen cooking pot rim can also cause this issue; check for deformation and contact Consumer Care.
