Installing the Network Adapter
If you are installing a network adapter, follow this procedure from step 1.
If you are upgrading the driver software, start with step 6.
1. Review system requirements.
2. Follow the procedure in Insert the PCI Express Adapter in the Server.
3. Carefully connect the network copper cable(s) or fiber cable(s).
4. After the network adapter is in the server, install the network drivers.
5. For Windows*, install the Intel® PROSet software.
6. Testing the Adapter.
