D.4 IHS Groove
Cut a groove in the package IHS; see the drawings given in Figure 30 and Figure 31.
The groove orientation in Figure 30 is toward the IHS notch to allow the thermocouple
wir
e to be routed under the socket lid. This will protect the thermocouple from getting
damaged or pinched when removing and installing the heatsink (see Figure 55).
