network.Ithelpsadministratorskeepacloseeyeonnetworkperformanceandalertsthemwhen
problemsoccur.Itcanbeusedtomirroreitherinboundoroutboundtraffic(orboth)onsingleormultiple
interfaces.Portmirroringisusedonanetworkswitchtosendacopyofnetworkpacketsseenonone
switchport(oranentireVLAN)toanetworkmonitoringconnectiononanotherswitchport. 




connectyourmonitoringstation.
MirroredPortList Definewhichofthe8portsyouwishtomirrorthetrafficfor.Notethatthe
mirroredportcannotbethesameasthemirroringport.
Apply  ClickApplytocreatethenewportmirroringrule.
Delete ClickDeletetoremovetheportmirrorrule.




Youcanonlymirrorthecontentsfromoneporttooneotherport,butnotmirrorthecontentsofmultiple
ports.


