General Settings
The General Settings screen allows adjustments for Chime (on or off), Expertise Display
(Yes or No), and At-A-Glance settings. System Help can also be accessed from the
General Settings screen.
1. Press the Settings icon on the main screen.
2. Adjust the settings as desired. Selected options are displayed in blue (Figure 9 and
Table 6).

Panel beeps or speaks the sensor name when a sensor is tripped.
Turn off Expertise Display (i.e., the screens are not in expert mode) to show more
information and a Help button on many of the AdvisorOne screens.
Display or hide the descriptive words for the At-A-Glance icons on the Main screen.
When set to ON, the At-A-Glance icons on the Main screen become animated.
Turn this setting OFF to display static icons.
Press System Help for information and tips on using the system.
Press the ABOUT button to access system information, such as Model Number
and Serial Number.
Information about the status of the security system is provided here. The screen
conveys the status of subsystem operation. An icon with a red circle over it
indicates that something is not present. The events below identify activity which
has occurred.
3. When done, press CLOSE to return to the main screen.
