4.1GeneralSafetyInformation
WARNING!
Riskofpersonalinjuryanddamagetoproperty.
Thebedmustbeplacedsothattheheight
adjustmentisnotobstructedby,forexample,
liftsorfurniture.
Takecarethatnobodypartsarebeingsqueezed
betweenxedparts(suchassiderails,bed
endsetc)andmovingparts.
Thehandcontrolmustnotbeusedbychildren.

oruserswithspasms:
either,whenthebedisequippedwitha

4.1.1LowHeights
CAUTION!
Riskofentrapmentorsqueezing
Dependingontheconguration,thefreespace
betweenmovingandxedpartsofthebedcan
becomeverysmallwhenthebedislowered.
Ensureyourfeetarenotnearorundermoving
partswhenloweringthebed.
Ensurecablesareroutedproperlyandcannot
getsqueezedwhenloweringthebed.

Dependingontheconguration,theminimum
workingheightofthebedisverylow.
Usinganimproper/incorrectposturewhile
workingatlowworkingheightscanleadto
injuriesforthecarer.
Beawareofyourbodyposturewhenattending
totheuser.
4.1.2Mattressretainers
WARNING!
Riskofinjury
Withoutproperlyinstalledmattressretainers,the
mattresscanslipsidewaysandcausetheuserto
falloutofthebed.
Neverusethebedwithoutmattressretainers.
Alwaysmakesurethemattressretainersare
properlyinstalledandfacingupwards.
Onlyusetheoriginalmattressretainers.
4.2Handcontrol
Thehandcontrolcanbeequippedwitheitherthreeorfour
buttonstooperatetheelectricalfunctionsofthebed.The
handcontrolcanalsobeequippedwithalockingfunction.
Backrestsection
1.Up:pressleftsideofthebutton(p).
2.Down:pressrightsideofthebutton(q).
Heightadjustment
1.Up:pressleftsideofthebutton(p).
2.Down:pressrightsideofthebutton(q).
Thighsection
1.Up:pressleftsideofthebutton(p).
2.Down:pressrightsideofthebutton(q).
Tiltfunction
CAUTION!
Riskoffatalinjury
Tiltingwithheadenddowncanhavefataleffect
onuserswhoaresensitiveforincreasedblood
pressureintheupperpartofthebody.
Onlymedicallytrainedpersonsmustoperate
thetiltfunction.
Alwaysperformamedicalevaluation,before
tiltingthebedwiththeuser’slowerextremities
positionedhigherthantheheart.
ThetiltfunctionisNOTaTrendelenburger
functionandmustnotbeusedformedical
treatment.

Alternatively,thiscanbeachievedby
pressingtheheightadjustmentbuttonto
bringitallthewayup.
4.2.1Lockingfunction
Thelockingfunctionpreventsusageofcertainfunction
buttons.Regardlessofhowmanybuttonsyourhandcontrol
has,theycanallbelockedindividually.
