device.Youshouldcontactyourlocalhomecaresupplierfor
recommendationsonwhichofthesedeviceswillbebestfor
you.Theyshouldalsogiveyouadviceontheproperusage,
maintenance,andcleaning.
Thesupplyaccessories(nasalcannula,mask,tubing,
humidier,etc.)usedtodeliveroxygentothepatientneed
toincludeameanstoreducethepropagationofrein
theaccessoriesforthesafetyofthepatientandothers.If
acommerciallyavailable,re-activatedowstopdeviceis
usedintheaccessoriessetup,itshouldbeplacedasclose
tothepatientaspracticable.
