Erase
The erase screen uses the same method of choosing tracks as the paste screen described above.
Only chosen tracks will be erased.
Cut to Clipboard: Erases the events and also copies them to the clipboard. Otherwise, the
clipboard is unaffected by the erase function.
Erase Events: Removes events from the pattern.
Erase & Shift Chosen: After erasing, any events to the right of the chosen tracks are shifted left.
Erase & Shift All: After erasing, all events to the right of the selection are shifted left.
Selection Actions
When an area of the pattern is selected in the Step Program grid view, press Enter to display the
selection actions menu. From this menu, several options are available for changing the selected
events.
Modify
Change parameters of selected events. Choose tracks whose parameters will be modified. Check
parameters to be modified, then fill in the value. Unchecked parameters are not modified. All
events in the selection for the chosen tracks will have the parameters set to the same value.
Transpose
All events in the selection for the chosen tracks will have their parameters transposed up or
down by the entered amount. A transpose amount of zero has no effect on the parameter.
Transcribe
Transcribing changes the chosen tracks to a different track while keeping the parm values the
same. All chosen tracks will be transcribed by the same amount.
Shift
Move selected events of chosen tracks. A Shift screen is displayed where specific tracks in the
selection can be chosen for shifting. The Shift screen is intended for shifting more than one
track, but fewer than all tracks. To shift all tracks in the selection or under the cursor press F4
instead of using the Shift screen. To shift a single selected track, hold F4 and press the pad
instead of using the Shift screen.
When Begin Shifting is clicked, the screen returns to the grid view with the cursor and selected
events blinking. Press Arrow keys or turn the Encoder to move the selected events. Press F4 or
Enter to stop shifting. Press Back to cancel (undo) shifting. Quantization/zoom level can be
changed while shifting.
Cut: Copy all selected events to the clipboard and erase them from the pattern.
Copy: Copy all selected events to the clipboard. Same as pressing the Copy key.
Erase: Displays the erase screen. Same as pressing the Erase key.
