Draining the heating system
Drain the heating system of water, as follows:
1. Switch off the system by pressing the ON/OFF button on the control
panel. Disconnect the mains power supply.
2. Lower the pressure in the heating system by opening the Safety valve
heating water to the left of the top of the hot water heater so that the
pressure gauge shows 0 bar.
3. Then open the Drain valve by turning the knob counter clockwise. The
valve has a 1/2 inch external thread to which the hose to the drain can
be easily connected.
4. To drain the system of heating water the Venting nipple or Safety valve
heating water must be open. Also open the Venting nipple in the heat
pump.
