6 MAINTENANCE & LUBRICATION CHARTS
6.1 GENERAL ________________________________________________________________
1. Always clean the gr ease fitt ing befo re and a fter
lubricating.
2. Lubricate wit h grease that mee ts or exceeds NLG I
Grade 2 LB sp ecifications. Apply grease wit h a
manual grease gun and fill slowly until grease begins
to seep out. Do not use compressed air guns.
3. Periodically apply a sm all amo unt of li thium based
grease to the seat runners.
4. For sm ooth ope ration of all le vers, pivot poi nts, an d
other friction points th at ar e no t shown on th e
lubrication ch art apply se veral drops of SA E 30 oil
every 40 hours or as required.
5. Grease fittings (A - F) every 50 hours and fittings (G -
K) every 100 hours.
