Good coverage
• A good coverage consists of obtaining
ideally sized drops to reach the target
with good uniform distribution, with po-
sitive results during control and that do
not cause damages to the environment.
• Unlike what a lot of people think, the ap-
plication volume does not influence the
treatment result, since the amount of
solvent (water, oil, etc) per unit area only
functions to dissolve, transport and faci-
litate the distribution of the active ingre-
dient over the target surface, whether it is
plants, soil, etc.
• This means that one could get the same
coverage with different spraying volumes.
• In practice, different volumes have been
used for the same ends due to operatio-
nal as well as regional factors.
