General precautions
Precautions when using the equipment and chemicals
• Owners and users of the equipment are
advised that the IMPROPER USE of this
equipment and the chemicals applied by
it may be harmful to people, animals and
the environment.
• Carefully read this manual and the re-
commendations from the manufacturers
of the products employed.
• Strictly follow the directions for use of the
equipment and chemicals in order to ob-
tain guaranties of safety and efficiency in
the development of your farming ac tivities.
After completion of application
• Thoroughly drain the sprayer reservoir at
a safe place.
• Choose a site where washing the equipment
would not give rise to risks of contamina-
tion of rivers, lakes, creeks, dams, etc.
ATTENTION!
Avoid leaving chemical rem-
nants in the storehouse or even
storing the same for a long
time. For the last application,
prepare the mixture in amount
enough to treat the small plan-
tation portion left.
Always follow the appropriate
technical directions.
• Wash the equipment both inside and
outside with clean water and detergent.
• Disassemble and clean each nozzle set by
using, if necessary, fine-bristle brush, wa-
ter jet or compressed air.
• Dry up, lubricate and keep the equip-
ment in a dry and sheltered place.
• Retouch metal parts with paint such as
to prevent corrosion from damaging the
equipment.
• Apply lubricating oil to metal parts in or-
der to protect from corrosion.
• Remove the personal protection equip-
ment and wash them separately from all
other ordinary use clothing.
