Rotary field direction
Check the direction of the voltage rotary field on
the measurement value display of the UMG508.
A "right" rotary field is usually available.
Presentation of the phase sequence according
to the rotary field direction.
UL1-UL2-UL3 = right rotary field
UL1-UL3-UL2 = left rotary field
Apply measurement voltage
• Voltage measurements in networks with
nominal voltages above 346VAC against
ground must be connected using a voltage
converter.
• After connection of the measurement volta-
ges, the measurement values displayed by
the UMG508 for voltages L-N and L-L must
match those at the voltage measurement in-
put.
• If a voltage converter factor is programmed,
this must considered upon comparison.
Warning!
The UMG508 is not suitable for measu-
ring DC voltages.
