UMG 96RM-P/-CBM
Current transformer input I4
The 4th current transformer input is intended for
the connection of current transformers with secondary
currents of ../1A and ../5A. The factory default for
the current transformer ratio is 5/5A and must be adapted
to the current transformer employed if necessary.
Direct measurement without a current transformer is not
possible with the UMG 96RM-P/-CBM.
Only AC currents can be measured - DC currents cannot.
In doing so, with a voltage only an apparent current
measurement is possible due to the multiplier being
missing. Power measurements with the help of this
input are thus not possible.

The current measurement inputs are
dangerous to touch.

The UMG 96RM is not suitable for
measuring DC voltages.

Earthing of current transformers!
If a connection is provided for the earthing
of secondary windings then this must be
connected to the earth.
