Installation of USB driver
With internet access or authorisation for automatic
updates of the driver library:
With all current operating systems (e.g. Windows 7)
the required drivers are automatically installed the first
time the device is connected to the USB interface of the
computer.
• Connect the power supply voltage for the UMG
96RM, as a minimum.
• Connect the UMG 96RM to a suitable USB
interface on the computer with the USB cable
provided.
• The installation of the system drivers required
starts and runs automatically.
• After successful installation the device can be
used.
With missing internet access or missing authorisation for
automatic updates of the driver library or with Windows
XP SP2:
• Windows system:
Start the setup program in the
UMG96RM/USB drivers/Windows folder on the CD
provided. The drivers required will be installed.
• Linux system:
Follow the instructions in the Readme file in
the UMG96RM/USB drivers/Linux folder.
• Connect the power supply voltage for the UMG
96RM, as a minimum.
• After successful installation, connect the UMG
96RM to a suitable USB interface on the computer
with the USB cable provided.
