10. Remove the plunger and guide bushing
(Figure 89) from the gland nut and inspect.
Note: The guide bushing may be stuck
and require some force to remove.
Use a tool in the cutout (Figure
90) to push the bushing out. Use
caution to avoid damaging the
gland nut.
