Important: Only the USB adapters listed in Table 4
function on the SNE. Other non-qualified adapters
do not function in the USB ports of the SNE, but
Johnson Controls will continue to qualify additional
adapters in future releases. Also, the USB ports do
not support external modems or USB network hubs.
Important: Do not connect any other loads to the
USB ports. For example, do not power cell phones
from the USB ports.
LonWorks network adapter
All SNE models except the SNE110Lx can integrate to the
LonWorks network with the addition of a separate USB-
to-LON interface adapter (ACC-USBLON-0). This required
adapter connects the network engine to the LonWorks
TP/FT-10 network. The LonWorks network connects to the
3-wire removable, keyed terminal block on the adapter.
The SHD connection (Figure 7) on the LonWorks network
terminal block is an isolated terminal and is not connected
in the network engine.
Wiring the Network Engine
Mount the network engine securely before you wire it. For
details, see Mounting.

Do not apply power to the system before checking
all wiring connections. Short circuited or improperly
connected wires may result in permanent damage to
the equipment.
