Hot Water Piping
Piping must comply with local plumb-
ing codes and ordinances.
Due to the variety of piping practices, it is advisable
to follow the recommendations of local authorities.
They can supply the installer with the proper building
and safety codes required for a safe and proper
installation.
ELECTRIC HEAT
The unit can be ordered with factory installed electric
heat. The electric heat option is installed on the supply
air outlet. The electric heat assembly, including the
controls, is contained within the supply air plenum on
the top of the unit.
FILTERS
Standard filters are 30% 2-inch. As an option, 4- inch
filters can be ordered with efficiencies up to 90%. A
30% 2-inch prefilter can also be ordered with the 4” high
efficiency filter option. The filters are factory installed
in the filter/hydronic coil section of the unit, prior to the
evaporator coil. Filters must always be installed ahead
of the evaporator coil. The filters must be kept clean
and replaced with the same size and type as shipped with
the unit. Dirty filters will reduce the capacity of the unit
and may result in frosted coils and safety shutdowns.
The unit should never be operated for any length of time
without the proper filters installed in the unit.
