FORCED OUTPUTS
This feature of the Keypad / Display is intended as
a service tool for the experience Service Technician.
The feature allows all the binary and analog outputs to
be “forced” on. This allows the experienced Service
Technician to verify the outputs from the control and
the operation of the controlled components.
The following sequence would be required to use this
feature:
• Place the “On / Auto / Off” toggle switch in the
Off position.
• From the Run Status screen, use the right arrow
key > to scroll down to Forced Outputs.
• When Forced Outputs is surrounded by brackets,
press the ENTER key.
• The Password screen will appear. (Ask startup
technician for password).
• In the Password screen, use the INC and DEC
keys to enter your administrator password. Use
the right arrow key > to move the cursor. After
entering the password, press the ENTER key >.

Cond Valve AO-4 Analog Sends 0 to 10 volt signal to condenser water valve
VFD Speed AO-3 Analog Sends 0 to 10 volt signal to VFD

AO-2 Analog Sends 0 to 10 volt signal to modulating heat valve
Econ Valve AO-1 Analog Sends 0 to 10 volt signal to Econ water valve or air damper motor
Heat Valve AO-2 Analog Sends 0 to 10 volt signal to modulating heat valve
• Use the right arrow key > to scroll through the
Forced Outputs.
• When you find the parameter to “Force On” the
following will appear on the screen [Unfrc].
• Press the ENTER key and then use the INC key
to change to [Force] and press the ENTER key
again.
• Use the right arrow key > to move the brackets
to [Off].
• Press the ENTER key and use the INC key to
change Off to On
• The output will now be “Forced On”
• DO NOT LEAVE OUTPUTS FORCED
ON – WHEN OPERATION IS VERIFIED
CHANGE THE PARAMETER BACK TO
“Off” and “Unfrc”.
Table 17 identifies the parameters that can be “Forced
On”.
