Connecting the System
Fusion Catalyst 4000 Getting Started Guide 13
Warning To prevent shock or accidental static discharge, make sure
that the Fusion Catalyst and projectors are OFF and
properly grounded (connected to a three wire AC source)
before attempting to connect the analog or DVI cables
between the projectors and the Fusion Catalyst. Failure to
do this may result in damage to the graphics output
circuitry.
Note It is important to note that the Graphics Board, in
conjunction with the DVI-I Connectors, has output and
connections for BOTH digital DVI signals and analog VGA
signals. There is a 5 meter limit to the length of cables used
for digital output to digital monitors.
3.2.2.1 Power Connections
Install the power cord to the Fusion Catalyst. Plug the power cord into an
AC outlet.
3.2.2.2 Mouse and Keyboard Cables
Plug the mouse and keyboard cables into any one of the USB ports.
