Using the MASTER

Use the MASTER VOLUME control to adjust the volume from the left and right speakers.
Rotating the dial to the right increases the volume. The volume from the speakers and the
headphones increases simultaneously.
NOTE: Volume can also be adjusted using the remote control. Press the VOLUME
button marked + to increase the volume, or the VOLUME button marked — to
decrease the volume.
A\ CAUTIONI Listening to extremely loud sound may damage your hearing. Be
especially careful when using headphones.
Muting the Sound Press the FADE MUTING button on the remote control to decrease the volume easily when you
receive a phone call or a visitor.
FADE MUTING IMPORTANT! If you are listening at very high volume, you may need fo press FADE
MUTING a second or third time to reduce volume completely.
Selecti ng the Speakers Pushing in SPEAKER button 1 or 2 activates that pair of speakers. Pressing either button again
deactivates that pair of speakers. When the button is in, that pair is activated. You can listen
Soeeenane; to both pairs, pair 1, pair 2, or neither pair.
oO oO IMPORTANT! If only one set of speakers is connected, pressing "in" both speaker
sone buttons will produce no sound.
Listening to Headphones Insert the headphone plug into the PHONES jack. To limit sound to the headphones (no sound
from the speakers), press SPEAKER buttons 1 and 2 to deactivate all speakers.

AX CAUTION! To avoid hearing damage, turn the volume down before plugging in
the headphones, then gradually increase the volume.
Adjusting the Left-Right Use the BALANCE control to adjust the balance between the left and right channels. Rotating
