enables
you
to
enjoy
a
3-dimensional
sound
effect
similar

experience

Overview
The
surround
sound
processor
provides
three
types
of
sound
effects
Dolby
Pro
Logic
Surround,
Dolby
3-Channel
logic,
and
JVC’s
Hall
surround
so
that
you
can
experiment
with
a
variety
of
sources
and
surround
sound
effects.
IMPORTANT!
The
surround
processor
has
no
effect
on
monaural
(non-stereo)
sources.
The
soundtracks
of
video
software
bearing
the
mark
[X][bowy
surround]
include
the
same
encoded
surround
information
as
found
in
Dolby
Stereo
films.
The
Dolby
Pro
Logic
Surround
decoder
is
a
consumer
version
of
the
decoding
process
used
in
professional
Dolby
Stereo
equipment,
and
it
lets
you
recreate
the
theater
ambience
and
effects
of
Dolby
Stereo
at
home.
Dolby
Pro
Logic
Surround
decoder
provides
these
features:

channels
Left,
Right,
Surround,
and
ater
Center
channel

adaptive
matrix
to
actively
derive
each
channel
The
result
is
that
Dolby
Pro
Logic Surround
has
the
effect
of
widening
the
useful
listening
area

at
the
same
time
locking
center
channel
information
onscreen
for
the
home
audience.
