Example of troubleshooting
Perform troubleshooting according to the following
instructions.
1.
Select the section in the manual where the troubleshooted
function is described.
2.
Read the description of the components involved in the func‐
tion and how these interact. Refer to the enclosed circuit dia‐
grams to familiarise yourself with the control system of the
function.
3.
Start the troubleshooting by checking the component or actua‐
tor receiving the signal.
4.
If the actuator is not defective, continue by checking the com‐
ponent that should send the control signal.
5.
Use the function description and diagrams to check the control
signals for the function to find where in the function chain that
control signal or reaction is incorrect.
