Troubleshooting hoses
Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic hoses
according to the following instructions.
DANGER
Always depressurise hydraulic and brake systems before starting to
troubleshoot hoses so that oil and air sprays do not cause any inju‐
ries during troubleshooting and repairs.

Refer to the hydraulic or pneumatic diagram for the item you
are troubleshooting; see Section
E Diagrams
. Check the con‐
nections and any joints of the suspected hose.
3.
Check the hoses as follows:
a)
Start the troubleshooting in the hose coming from the
hydraulic pump or pneumatic air compressor and follow
the hose to the next component.
b)
Check the hoses and hose connections of the function
you are troubleshooting for abrasions, crushing, and
leaks.
4.
Replace all damaged hoses and connectors with similar parts
available from our spare parts department.
