1.2 Fuel system
Replace the fuel filter
DANGER
FIRE HAZARD!
Smoking, open flames and sparks when handling the fuel system
will cause death or severe injury.
A fuel spill onto a hot surface or an electrical component may cause
a fire.
WARNING
HAZARDOUS MATERIAL HAZARD!
Fuel in contact with the skin may cause injury.
Avoid skin contact with the fuel. Use protective gloves.
CAUTION
Take care to ensure absolute cleanliness. Impurities in fuel cause
damage to the system.
1 Put a container below the filter.
2 Clean the filter and the area around it.
3 Remove the spin-on fuel filter with the fuel filter wrench.
4 Clean the filter sealing surface of the filter bracket.
