13.6 Device information
The device information is read via the command 0x2B (Read Device Identica-
tion)
Information about the manufacturer, device code and device version is read
in the process. The device supplies the "Basic Device Identication". "Regular"
and "Extended Device Identication" are optional according to the Modbus
denition.

0E MEI type according to the Modbus denition always 0x0E
01 Device ID code for "Basic Device Identication" (see Modbus
