5.7.1 Setting the module address
The module is addressed automatically. The module address does not have
to be set manually.
5.7.2 Adding input/output modules
To add input/output modules, proceed as follows:
1) Disconnect the power supply.
2) Remove the end bracket.
3) Release the lock on the right side of the module to which the input/out-
put module is to be added by pushing it up.

4) Install the input/output module to be added on the mounting rail and lock
it, see 5.5 Installing the module.
5) Slide the input/output module to be added to the left until the hooks are
fully engaged in the recesses of the already installed module.
Caution
If the input/output module is installed improperly, its function may be im-
paired. When adding input/output modules, make sure that the hooks are
engaged.
