Service Equipment You Will Need
USB Keyboard and Mouse
A USB keyboard and mouse will be needed to accomplish many of the different
troubleshooting tasks, as well as updating the instrument software. Any
standard USB keyboard and mouse should work, but you can use the optional
keyboard and mouse sold for the instrument. These can be purchased as:
USB Storage Device
The main reason why a USB storage device will be needed is to backup
calibration data when the hard drive in an instrument needs to be replaced.
Most any size of storage device can be used, as the size of the file to be backed
up is not much larger than a few megabytes. An optional 512 MB device can be
ordered along with an instrument as N9020A-EFM, as an upgrade as
N9020AK-EFM, or by using the part number 1819-0195.
NOTE The memory capacity and part number of the USB storage device supplied
with N9020A/AK-EFM is subject to change.
