1. The S9xxxxA software license types are fixed-perpetual (1FP), transportable-perpetual (1TP), fixed-1-year (1FY), and transportable-1-year (1TY). The S93xxxB software
has four license types: Node-locked, Transportable, USB Portable and Floating/Network, and has four term choices for each perpetual and time-based types. Please refer
to “Keysight Software Licensing Options, Provide Flexibility and Support” on page 29 for more details. (Note: S93093B/A, S93094B/A, S93898B/A, S93110B/A, S94510A
and S94511A have fixed-license types only). The fixed-perpetual (1FP) is the only license type that can be ordered as part of the instrument and installed. The other license
types must be ordered separately and installed from the web after the receipt of the instrument.
2. For use with PNA or PNA-X models, a test set with internal receiver attenuators is recommended to avoid receiver compression when measuring large input signals. For
use with PNA-L models, test set option 216 or 416 is recommended so that external attenuators can be connected via the front-panel jumpers to avoid receiver compression
as needed.
3. When ordering a test set, select an appropriate interface kit. Refer to Multiport Measurements section on page 32 for more details.
4. When N524xB is configured as a multiport analyzer using S93551B/A and a multiport test set, the combiner feature of Option 22x or 42x is temporarily disabled.
When configured as a standalone analyzer, the combiner feature is enabled.
5. A fully configured NVNA system requires two comb generators with power supplies, Keysight calibration kits (mechanical or ECal), and a power meter and sensor or USB
power sensor.
6. Pulse capability requires option 021 and S93025B/A or S93026B/A.
7. Pulse capability requires option 021, 022 and S93025B/A or S93026B/A.
8. Requires EXG, MXG, or PSG signal generator for X-parameter extraction (the PNA-X’s 10 MHz reference output can be used for 10 MHz tone-spacing applications).
